Conceited aspect which gives 15-25% increase dmg while barrier is up does not increase your dmg when used on barbarian.
i put the aspect on my 2h weapon for 50% dmg and tested using thorns AND other skills and damage was same with or without barrier. my barrier source was temerity unique pants and also tested with iron skin.
Hello. Conceited Aspect is not working for me either - I am using it on my rogue with Temerity as well. I also tried to swap Temerity for a piece with Aspect of the Protector and it did not work with that either.
Looks like the Aspect is disabled or bugged.
It’s not working on sorcerer either. Seems a lot of aspects do nothing at all or the descriptions are just wrong. If it would be a + instead of a x it would make more sense since that would be barely noticeable.
Yup, not working for me either. Barbarian, tried multiple sources of barrier, tried multiple sources of aspect, checked damage output of various skills, no changes whatsoever.

Not working on Necromancer too with Aspect of Shielding Storm.

Suprised it is still not fixed half month after launching
I wasn’t noticing any change in damage either since I started using it and I’m a Barb with several different ways to gain Barrier. However, now it’s even greyed out when I have it on an item I am wearing, as if I was wearing two of the same aspect, but I am not. I wonder if they just plain disabled it atm cause it wasn’t working at all anyway.
Is this aspect still bugged? I put it on my rogue and I don’t see my dmg numbers change at all?
using it on my druid, i have another aspect that relies on fortified and the dmg changes as my skill fortified my char. but the barrier from my temerity or (test) the bulwark skill does not proc or change any dmg to my char.
This aspect is bugged and not working.

Tested on necromancer and does not work, please fix Blizz, this is a large part of my build.
still not working, 73 sorc. changes no dmg numbers at all, have died plenty of times testing with no barrier to make sure.
Conceited still doesn’t work with Temerity unique pants as far as I can tell.
It works for sorcerer - confirmed 100%
Tested with ice shield but I’m pretty sure it works with every barrier in the game,
Since we can’t test this stuff only by a sense of “feeling” the numbers, I tested min max white dmg with very big number of hits with and without a barrier, without a barrier my highest white damage was 572 and with barrier my highest white damage was 702, as you can see it’s exactly ~25% more as my aspect says.
Also did the same with minimum damage and had same result.
Makes me think that maybe people don’t know how to really test it and just go with their “feelings” rather than deterministic measure method…
If you want to really prove it doesn’t work go and write down out of lets say 100 hits or more the min max WHITE dmg (no buffs at all), you will get your min max without barrier now go again and write down min max with a barrier, and if you get exact same numbers - then you can claim it doesn’t work.
If it’s working then Blizzard could easily just say “we have confirmed that this aspect is working as intended” rather than a bunch of people crunching numbers to play test a game they paid for. In my opinion, the fact that Blizzard has remained silent in what should be an easy to wrap up rumor if it were false just shows that it is bugged and they don’t have a solution. It’s not our duty as the customer to control their product quality.
