Coming back to the social aspect of the game

So my son got a ps5 for christmas…and what did he buy this past week without my knowledge?

VOH for 42 bucks on sale on the playstation store as a digital download.

So, I am probably going to jump back into the game next time VOH goes on sale for PC IF my son continues to play by that date.

Anyhow, just wanted to point out the fact that the playing population is still important (while for many it may be a solo game or very close to it). The people in clans and communities really do create a cohesive network of players that reinforce the games overall positive nature or in the case of D4 what I feel is categorically the opposite with people leaving the game permanently more so than coming back for seasons.

But there’s no real way to know other than…trying to make sense of trends of surrogate numbers like twitch.

So if the game can hold his attention, I’ll be back sometime in the near future.

This is excellent news!

Sounds like…

A) He should multi box and farm ubers for you before the S8 changes because that’s what good sons do.

B) YOU should get a Nintendo switch to and start practicing your mario karting skillz.

C) Once you are sufficently warmed up your thumbs by Thanksgiving you can gift everyone in the family a Switch as well and pretend you just started playing.

Nothing wrong with this. If it helps you spend time with your son and it turns into a bonding experience all so the better I say. From the sounds of it you’re just more after the social aspect rather than interested in the game though. Which is fine, maybe there’s a game out there you are both interested in?
