Colorblind person here: PLEASE change the text colour of uniques on the ground

Even side by side, I cannot tell the difference between a regular legendary and a unique. If I’m lucky, I notice a different icon on the mini-map, provided it’s not covered up by the stars from others.

Please, I’m just asking for a text-color change. This is something I’ve been struggling with since launch.

and yet you post this on the forums (a place where devs rarely look) and at 06:43 in the morning (Caleforina time) on a saturday.

It does not really feel like you want them to see it

I would assume that tweeting this to adam fletcher or just the diablo 4 account might get it more visibility.

But personally i just assume they check reddit more than these forums, a lot more people writing there for example

Sadly they’re only changing the color of Mythic Uniques moving forward, not regular Uniques. At least not yet anyway. I support your message though.

It’s a little bit hard for me to see the differences between orange and light brown, too.

Op makes good point. Every singlecolor should be customizable.

At the very least there should be a way to customize the color of the name text or something. They are always adding new accessibility options.

Despite what people say they do read the forums. But to really raise the visibility you should post on the PTR forums after it starts up with this suggestion.

you’re colorblind, why does it matter what color stuff is.

Is this serious? Or do you really not know the answer to this?

Because it’s not a black and white issue (ba-dum tiss).

No, but seriously, educate yourself on color-blindness. It’s degreed and stepped, with some not being able to differentiate colors, and others being unable to discern entire spectrums.

Every important color in the game should be customizable.

Going strictly by color, can you differentiate the difference between the text of a legendary and the text of a unique? I cannot.

Telling a blue from a yellow from a red from a purple is easy for me, but the color of legendaries and uniques is so similar as to be identical to my eyes.

One way you might imagine this is if the color of all items on the ground was the same, and you didn’t know what rarity an item was unless you picked it up.

Red and green colorblind here.

I personally have a hard time with shades that are close to each other. The current colorblind mode doesn’t help. I actually see worse while using it.

Edit: Oh, I also meant to say I have the same issue as OP.
