Blizzard has built in many restrictions that unnaturally and artificially slow down your journey in Diablo 4. Let’s list a few:
Mount speed cooldown
Random results when tempering not giving you the desired result
Random results when masterworking not giving you the desired result
The following unnecessary process: drops of useless rare, magical, common items in the endgame → going back to town (interrupting gameflow) → selling/salvaging manually → going back to where you originally were
The need to go back to town to salvage or sell unwanted items.
The lack of a loot filter, resulting in the game spamming you with 99% useless items
The lack of the possibility to save and load certain builds on the same char (build = equipped gear + skill points distribution + paragon points distribution)
mount speed cooldown… i dont know. i dont think it “slows me down” as i usually teleport from place a to place b. if they would remove the cooldown, i wouldnt care, but i also dont consider it an important change ^^
I love this post because its either a perfect distillation of all the ridiculous snowflake posts on this forum or the perfect snowflake post.
And the writing is so clean that you cant tell which.
having to manually select skills and paragon nodes instead of having a dropdown list allowing to select the Maxroll build you want to use
having 6 actions on your hotbar when you should just have one “kill all ennemies in sight” button
having to go through a title screen to boot the game
you should be able to edit manually the values and affixes on the gear, and load their value from your previously selected maxroll build.
Or…remove all affixes and just make everything deal multiplicative base damage because choosing affixes is slowing us down more than anything else in the game
