Collection of things unnecessarily interrupting / slowing down gameflow

Blizzard has built in many restrictions that unnaturally and artificially slow down your journey in Diablo 4. Let’s list a few:

  • Mount speed cooldown
  • Random results when tempering not giving you the desired result
  • Random results when masterworking not giving you the desired result
  • The following unnecessary process: drops of useless rare, magical, common items in the endgame → going back to town (interrupting gameflow) → selling/salvaging manually → going back to where you originally were
  • The need to go back to town to salvage or sell unwanted items.
  • The lack of a loot filter, resulting in the game spamming you with 99% useless items
  • The lack of the possibility to save and load certain builds on the same char (build = equipped gear + skill points distribution + paragon points distribution)

Feel free to add to this list.

only thing id agree with you really.

mount speed cooldown… i dont know. i dont think it “slows me down” as i usually teleport from place a to place b. if they would remove the cooldown, i wouldnt care, but i also dont consider it an important change ^^

from reading his complaints im guessing he just wants d2 editor where he can just create the gear he wants instead of playing a loot hunting game.

Invest in CDR.

Wecome to arpgs. RNG is the backbone of the genre. Definitely not for the weak or entitled.

Again, normal rpg, arpg, mmo and any loot game.

Dont need one with GA system. Especially in S6 if its anything like PTR.

I 100% agree with you here only. A loadout system should have been added the moment they made respecing meaningless.

Stop slowing us down Blizzard!

  • Characters should begin at level 60 with full paragon, renown, and statues
  • All strongholds should be auto completed and all map regions revealed
  • Glyphs should always be fully leveled up and it’s dumb to make us find these
  • Only gold should drop, which can be used to buy any item you want directly from a vendor and to masterwork it fully
  • Instead of waypoints, let us fast travel to any point on the map
  • We should instantly teleport to the next pack of monsters as soon as the good parts of the previous one is dead
  • Make the dungeons really interesting to play, but please do not include objectives or split paths in dungeons, just one corridor to the boss
  • Make the bosses hard but they should take no more than 30 seconds to kill

I love this post because its either a perfect distillation of all the ridiculous snowflake posts on this forum or the perfect snowflake post.
And the writing is so clean that you cant tell which.

Either way, 10 of 10. Hat’s off.

I don’t know if you are beeing sarcastic or not, but if not. Wtf? Why not just make the game play itself instead of you playing it?

You forgot :

  • having to manually select skills and paragon nodes instead of having a dropdown list allowing to select the Maxroll build you want to use
  • having 6 actions on your hotbar when you should just have one “kill all ennemies in sight” button
  • having to go through a title screen to boot the game
  • you should be able to edit manually the values and affixes on the gear, and load their value from your previously selected maxroll build.
  • Or…remove all affixes and just make everything deal multiplicative base damage because choosing affixes is slowing us down more than anything else in the game

Why are you so worried? Arn’t you done with Diablo 4? Didn’t you say your not gonna play anymore, let alone spend your money on the Expansion.

I’m very confused here, what are your intentions FeRReT ?
