I can’t upgrade my aspects salvaging high roll items. I found some maxed aspects and breaking them didn’t update the codex. Im playing Spiritborn.

Maybe it wasn’t ancestral, only ancestral items have max aspect values.
It wasn’t ancestral but the aspect was nearly maxed
What I meant is that for example the aspect of the moonrise ranges from 40% to 80% on a non ancestral item and if you have an ancestral item with the aspect of the moonrise then the range is 40%-100%. So the true max values aspects will always have to come from the ancestral items.
Had the same problem… perfect redirected aspect, salvaged, top left notification “codex of power updated” but my codex power is still on 58 instead of max (80)
same goes with other aspects, salvage perfect aspects doesnt update the codex properly

I’m having the same issue with Redirected Force with ancestral items or not, perfect aspect and it still doesn’t update my codex. Same with moonrise aspect… i’m salvaging ancestral perfects and it doesn’t update or upgrade my codex. This needs fixed asap, i’m tired of wasting my time trying up upgrade my gear.

Same problem, just salvaged an ancestral item with max Redirecting Force (70%) and it didn’t go into the codex. Still showing 50 of 70 when I try to imprint it onto an Ancestral ring. Core mechanic that isn’t working as best I can tell…
Also had that right now with the Inderdiction Aspect. My codex says 9% and i salvaged one with 13% but didnt get the upgrade …

Was the item that was salvaged an amulet?
Quite annoying to know that only Ancestral item will be registered when salvaging, given the fact that ancestral item with the aspect you are looking for will drop like 1/100000000000000 chance. This needs to be fix.
The same issue. They created an entire season for the game, but the existing system was broken for the whole season. Nice…
