Click Play, Task manager shows Diablo Retail.exe running, but the game did not launch. No errors, no pop-ups. Have to “end task” to kill it and try again but still no luck. Reinstalling now… hopefully it resolve the issue.

There are a few things we can try to see what’s causing the game to just not launch.

We’ve found that Razer Chroma & Synapse features have been conflicting with our games. We’re going to want to try updating Synapse 3 to install the most recent version of Chroma SDK, and then remove all Razer software if the game continues to have problems

Bit Defender has been causing strange issues with a few games including Diablo 4. Try creating a firewall exclusion/exception for Battle.net and the game. Also updating/uninstalling can help if the exclusion/exception doesn’t help.

3 & 4 - already checked.
Solution: uninstall and reinstall the game worked.
