Classes and weapons wield abilities

Seeing druids with a 1h sword is just mind blowing. Not sure why this is what’s more this is almost as odd as a barbarian wielding a 2handed staff. I love using swords so guess what, I play a class that is able to use swords. Blizzard, please go back to the way it was before! If someone wants to use a weapon type when playing guess what, play that class just do not change the rules since D & D type games were created and give classes weapons, they should not wield. I am sure to get a lot of flack for this, even more the hate will come from those who cried about druids not being able to wield swords. Let the hating begin…

A weapon is a weapon anything else it’s about cosmetics.

So if druids are not to have 1H swords, they should be given maces that have the same passive affix e.g. a mace with crit dmg instead of overpower. Or they should be able to use staves with their totems. Taking away an extra aspect slot to use a 2H weapon is a bit unfair. Barbs: We stand for our druidic brothers. And are necros the only class that can use a shield. Kinda wonky in terms of classic looks eh? The barb should be allowed to replace of their 2H weapons with a shield.

Weapon limitation by class is wrong but that’s how the game goes. But there’s no reason for not giving class weapons the same affixes as others if they want to achieve fairness if not balance.

shard of varathiel is a 1h sword for basic skill builds. they had to make all classes able to use the 1h sword for this reason. it also allows all classes to use doombringer.

they should just open the transmog options so anything could look as everything else.

well then, barbarians should be able to use 2 handed staffs…

Are there any decent 2 handed staffs a barb would want to use over other options?

Nah see, this would actually be some kind of buff to Barbarians and would therefore cause this board and Reddit to have some kind of insane meltdown

Druids have had access to swords in D&D, with certain skill selections… along with scimitar (1h sword) being a class weapon. Your premise (bias) is flawed.
