Yeah, I will probably get a lot of hate from people, but in comparison to uniques, they are far superior and feel much much better. That or they really need to look at uniques and how they work in end game.
I got good news for you buddy… They are already in the game with this imprinting system. Not sure how you didnt recognize that. Make a build thats good without imprinting… You cant.
Sets will return in some future season, rune words are also currently on the table
i agree, maybe if there are 3 clear builds for classes it will be easier for devs to balance.
sets is what killed d3
so no or atleast not as most powerfull items
No. This is what they should do.
- Overhaul the talent trees. There are a lot of redundant skills and dead talents for each class that bring nothing to the table. Rend Barbarian for example doesn’t need Rupture because rend damage is good enough on it’s own. It’s better to pick up utility.
- Overhaul the paragon board and glyphs. Paragon boards need more than just stats and bonuses to % modifiers. Why aren’t there any paragon nodes or glyphs that increase the radius of your attacks or change the way your abilities work? There is so much more than can go with paragon board. Remove legendary nodes. Just give you the legendary node effect when you pick that board to use.
-Add more legendary aspects and uniques to the game.
Sets ruined D3 single-handedly. Nothing is less fun than having your skills and items pre determined for you by poor itemization.
If they do sets they should be universal to the class, not specific to any one skill.
eh, i disagree, that’s just boring
wel then dont add them atall
any other solution by blizz is make them overpowerd
and no we vbeen thru a powercreep in d3 not again in d4
So is equipping a set to do all of your damage for you.
Sets should be mid tier at best, just like D2.
they will break it even more, there are already glyphs that can provide 0 benefit either because things like lightning damage no longer exist or because they are too far from the nodes that they could benefit.
You want them to rebuild everything again? its going to be a disaster
i agree 1000%
20youknowwhat
sets are a staple of blizzard games, not having them would be tragic
the problem is sets in d3 do like 12,000% damage, they just need to do as much as the amount of legendary space they’re taking up.
If a set is a 4 piece, it’s 4 legendaries worth of power.
lower the power it will become the meta again and we will be hunting sets
no thanks
so if a 4 set is equal in power to 4 legendaries, that will somehow make the set better even though they’re equal… k
NO!
No class sets… stop it. then the game turns into everything else sucks. they won’t do it right and the sets will have 10000x multipliers on them making everything else useless, at least right now people are experimenting with various things. Thsi game is gonna turn into diablo 3 so fast our heads gonna spin
because thats not what bliz will do
i will repeat we have been thru this before
i have no problems with sets but i do have a problem with them if they are all we need to lok for
again no overpowerd sets
that will create a huge powercreep again and you know it
imho you are completly wrong if you think that sets killed D3.
D3 was killed by it’s terrible itemization and guess what? In D4 we have same itemization. LOL
Sets are comeing. They are figureing out what implemetation would best fit the game.
Also all who say no because if D3. This is not going to be D3. I could also say no because in D2 they are worthless. They will come up with something that fits the game. If they want to make them good, they should inspire from D:I sets. And don’t make 6 peice sets anymore.
imo sets like cain, captain or aughild from d3 could function here too, everything aiming on increase exp gain, movement speed, zen, materials etc. But you cant push aspect to them. So sets which could be usefull in some situation but not must have in pushing higher dungeons
