If so, how do I skip the Class Quest, I have tried three classes, and their Class Quest was still mandatory!
You can skip it if you have done it before, the class power will automatically granted when you reach lvl 15.
On the other hand, you still need to do the quest if you havent done it before.
I think it was in fact nonsense Blizzard spouted and you do have to do the quests again. Maybe it’s after this time we do them we don’t have to do them again.
Wait are you saying that I have to complete it at least once per class each season? They really expect someone to create more than one seasonal character of the same class? Wasn’t that just the reason why the Armory was so sought after? well the thing doesn’t quite work lol
My Barb didn’t. But I had a Barb on Eternal that already completed it.
My Druid didn’t either, but still had to take the stronghold to gain access to the 4 animal spirits for the double benefit.
No. It carries over like Renown rewards. Do the quest once, and it’s done for that class.
I’ve had to do it on every class this season even tho I’ve done it on all of them before
The trick is to have a character on Eternal that’s already done it, log on them real quick, then log back onto your seasonal character. They botched the implementation is what it comes down to though.
I think if you had done the class quest any previous season then you dont need to do it again this season.
I have 2 class that I am playing this season, both doesn’t require me to do the class mission. Although they still show the quest, but you’ll get the power automatically after when youre lvl 15.
I could still select the double aspect without doing the stronghold / quest?
Are you asking, or stating?
If you are stating, it’s possible they fixed it in a patch. I made a Druid early. I got the quest unlocked without having to redo it, but to speak to the animal spirits required the Stronghold cleared.
If you are asking - I don’t know. I’m not making another Druid to find out. I’m merely relaying what I experienced in S7. There’s other threads referencing the same, if you care to search the forums.
No it doesn’t work, made multiple chars and you need to redo the quest. I’m pretty sure it’s registered NOW and we can skip it the next time but unlike they announced it, it doesn’t work retrospectively.
No idea how that happen but Im just talking from my experience. I didnt do the quest for 2 of my character but still got the power.
I was told I had to do the quest for my Necromancer, and I cannot seem to get rid of it from my quest journal without doing it, but I was still able to access Book of Dead powers without actually doing the quest once I hit the appropriate level.
Then it’s prolly bugged
Doesn’t work for me either…
Played 4 classes this season (SB, Rogue, Barb and Druid) and had to do the quests for each of them. I played all classes in previous seasons and completed their quests, yet I had to do them again. Maybe because I deleted all my old characters before creating new ones in this season (but after this season started)? I don’t know, but I was expecting it to be carried over just like finishing the main campaign…
It was bugged. Some people were able to select the focus spirit immediately, while others had to redo the quest.
