it shows a list of maybe 20 or 30 clans that are all full and or have max applications waiting. How is this useful to anyone looking to join a clan?

Same here. I can’t handle being in a maxed out clan. I’d like to find a smaller one, but it’s impossible with how they have it set up.
It’s very frustrating the clan system is broken. Didn’t they have QA to test basic game systems? And it’s pointless to create your own clan since it will never come up in the search results so no one can join.

Apparently they decided to outsource everything social (chat, LFG, clan recruiting) to Discord and other out-of-game tools. This is a boneheaded decision by Blizzard to make an antisocial multiplayer game, but it doesn’t look like they’re interested in fixing it. In case you’re still looking, there are lots of people doing clans and LFG on the official Diablo Discord group : try discord dot com /invite/diablo4

It’s really odd. I can’t find a clan with search, I can’t use local chat because of errors (code 10001) where’s the social aspect of the game?

I had to start my own because I had this problem as well.
We are full now, 150 max, but I suggest you go to a major town and search a few of the Clan Tags you see of players running around to find a guild.

hey guys i just started a new clan for people in our shoes its called INFESTED HOUSE
leveling guild for now focus on helping get players to end game content then will be converting fully to endgame content drivin group consisting of expeirenced skilled players geared towards helping newer players with potential get trained up/ help grow t he community
