Clan Halls - Improve Social Aspects

Clans in D4 are great for finding like-minded players to explore the world together. To improve the social aspect of the game, I urge the devs to introduce a new feature, Clan Halls. Clan Halls would be instanced areas for your clan mates that come in various sizes for purchase, such as a cheap cottage in Ked Bardu to a very expensive manor in Kyovashad.

The Clan Hall would feature various objects, such as:

  • Clan Vault (donate gold to upgrade hall)
  • Clan Stash (shared stash for clan mates)
  • Clan Heraldry (add banners around hall)
  • Vendors (alchemist, blacksmith, jeweler, occultist)
  • Training Grounds
  • Message Board
  • Wardrobe
  • Armory
  • Furnishings (purchased in shop)

In the end, adding Clan Halls would give players a place to unwind in-game, socialize with other clan mates, and give you a place to call home in the world of Sanctuary. Heck, Blizzard would benefit financially as they could offer furnishings for the Clan Hall in the shop.

Don’t hold your breath, but good luck on your request.

I think the probability of something like this being implemented is directly correlated with how much revenue they could generate from this feature. For the Clan Hall, if they added furnishings to the cash shop such as furniture, rugs, statues, paintings, etc. that could generate a lot of money for the game, the development time would be justified.

I like the idea.

I’d actually consider joining a clan if things like this were in the game.

As of right now, there is no point in forming a clan at all other than making your display name ugly.

Yeah, this would definitely improve the social aspect of the game.

What we need are true global chat channels like in Poe. Its baffling they have nothing like this. D4 feels 95% like a barren, lonely singleplayer game.

Yeah, not sure why global chat channels were not added.

But think Clan Halls would strengthen the social aspect of the game.
