Citadel is very wrong

so this is the co-op activity? moving stones, moving souls, teleporting around otherwise you die… and of course you die since others in party do not know citadel “mechanics”… very un-intuitive, a chaos, zero fun, only frustration.

we are here to kill mobs! we want to co-op to kill mobs, not to move thinks around and to die if not move them.

Genuine question for forum veterans: Is this the most negative day in the forums in recent years?

This is the most challenging mechanics in Citadel but it’s understandable because mostly everyone aren’t aware of how it works. Give it time.

Now if this is still the case after a month and you know these folks had been playing that long, then it’s hopeless.

Reminds me of ESO trials (you know the MMO)…and not in a good way in an arpg

Most negative generation tbh. You know when even patching a game of 130GB+ size with 4GB patch is too much…:person_facepalming:t2:
And again, same people would complain if Blizzard didn’t patch game. It’s vicious circle. :slightly_smiling_face:
Imagine if these people were around when Blizzard patched games “SOON”!
Their world would have completely crush and burn! :joy:

I played games back then, I play games now. I don’t have a problem with people sharing their opinions on a game’s forum whether they are negative or positive.

I dont think its that toxic. people just come to forums to complain. Expansion and season are decent. Season is a bit bland tbh, you barely know its there but the game is fundamentally different than even last season…and compared to a year ago…its a good game now.

People seem to have short term memories when they think about ‘the other’ game and how it launched…three acts, dominus as the boss. horrid leagues lol. Yet, this game received so much more flak.

Hey now buds, this is the new way of Iso arpgs.
It’s not about the things that you liked about them.
But what others like in other games.
And made by the glorious D4 devs.

I think my question caused a little bit of a false assumption. I like seeing complains here very much, because I think it keeps the billion dollar company Blizzard on their toes. At least a bit, I hope.

My friend invited me into one today, and I finally figured out what’s going on after 30 mins, but they’re still clueless. I don’t want to shout at them, so I think I’ll stay away from it for a while.

but why to have such mechanics? I play D3 in party pushing GreaterRifts for years, and there the hard “mechanic” was how to sinergy the group players to beat the mobs, and that was fun. now, how to explain others to move some stones and use some teleports, what this has to do with an aRPG?

The expansion just launched…

Wait till people get tutorials and videos, which will be more effetive than explain on voice chat or text.

So many people who think they sound like 133t dewds…but just sound like spoiled toddlers crying over EVERYTHING.

It’s what when you allow wow raid or die devs work on and manage the game. And listening to moronic wow players who need muh raids but refuse to go play the raid based game.

but again, no fun anyway, mobs seems to be easy to kill(did on T3 today) and then this “co-op” will be no co-op at all but just co-op to ise some portals, great…
I personally eon’t play it again…

I’m really curious if it is worse today than another time since the D4 launch though.

I am not fond of it but I am okay either way. It’s Blizz decision. It’s the same with AoZ. I am 50/50 with AoZ.

it is a very bad decission. neither D1, D2, D3 had such thinks. players shall entry a party to have fun, not to discuss in chat what everyone should do to complete the mechanics. and fun means killing mobs…

They listened to MMO devs in the company and MMO raiders outside it.

So much negativity you got me out here saying some good parts, it’s deserved tho honestly after a year to get it to a decent state and then they release a xpac that is seasonal size.
