Cir rune not working proprel or is not explained well

New Cir rune (Cast 5 skills then become exhausted for 3 sec) only work when you cast 5 same skill (and hit enemy) in the row … different skill breaks the stacking chain … if it is intented, then the explanation is confusing…

Thank you that explains why it wasn’t working for me. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong.

What does the “Exhausted” part do?

Probably because they were exhausted by the time they were writing it.

I’m guessing this wasn’t intended and has been hotfixed. I just tried it out and it’s proccing after 5 of any skill (does not need to be the same skill). And they don’t need to hit an enemy.

But there is some temporal proximity required: If the skills are are cast with too much time in between, the count resets (and I don’t see anywhere in the UI that the count is tracked). Also, during the 3 second “exhaustion” phase, skills don’t contribute to the count.

It works 100% for me.

I was using it on my Barb as a cheap Ult reducer until I found better.

Cast 5 of any skills, get the Ult Cooldown.
Exhausted refers to the rune itself - it can’t trigger or even start the 5 new skill count again for 3 seconds.

It only procs its effect for me if I cast the same skill 5 times in a row on my Barb. It procs constantly if I just stand still casting a basic skill at nothing, but it doesn’t ever proc in actual combat where I’m using multiple skills.

Agree. Was trying to use it with Mighty Throw and toggling between MT and Bash is definitely not procc’ing Cir.

classic blizzard and its description problems. The Rune used to be:

“Cast the same non-Channeled Skill 3 times in a row.”

which pretty much explains its well.

Now it just says “after casting 5 spells” - leaving out the information that it has to be the same spell.

Works with some, but not all. Can confirm it doesn’t work with Mighty Throw
