ChromaEffects failed to initialize

Hey !

I had the bug with grey screen and crashing. Last line of FenrisDebug was ChromaEffects failed to initialize so the first thing i thought of is that it is connected somehow to the Razer software. I’ve tried uninstalling the razer synapse and all other software from razer but that didn’t work. I’ve also tried to set ChromaEffects = 0 but that didn’t work as well.

What worked is I added an exception in my antivirus software (norton) to razer installation folder.

So i guess the bug is razer software integration

Same problem, I was able to work around this by editing documents/Diablo IV/LocalPrefs.txt to set:

DisableChromaEffects “1”

I don’t have Norton Antivirus but had the same symptoms until I disabled this chroma effects feature.
