Choice to let pet pick up EVERYTHING on ground?

Or at least do something like hold down a key to loot EVERYTHING in your general area? Would be nice QoL improvement. Also, faster glyph xp grinding. Kind of miss nightmares having the affix for more glyph xp

The answer you hold down a button you click, you move the curser and do it again.

I’m not directing this at you…. But I don’t remember having auto pickup in D2….

Part of a ARPG is clicking items and picking them up……once you pick everything up the complaints starts that I don’t want to pick everything up…. Give us a loot filter.

We have one it’s just manual.

I see your point, however, thats why i said it would be optional, like something in settings or you hold down a button to enable auto-loot.

Nothing wrong with having more Options. I suppose it’s similar to your pet picking up specific loot you want it to.

He’s asking for something akin to Diablo 3’s “vaccusuck” effect where you click on a material and all of that type/class of material is picked up if it’s within a specified radius of your character (e.g. you click a gem and all surrounding gems are “sucked” in and picked up). This would really help with the tediousness of material pickup. Combined with auto-pickup which we currently have for most materials, this would greatly speed things up and let us go back to slaying demons. I wouldn’t mind having this at all, especially since the first patch of this season seemed to bork the pet AI and now the pet just takes foreeeeeeever to pick things up.

Yes I get it.

Totally against this idea optional or not. I understand convenience of it just don’t agree with it.

If you pick up everything then again you will complain you have to go sell sooner etc. and you’re not killing monsters because you have to sell. Then you’ll want some middle ground and another change.

Enjoy what you have it’s not flipping hard to pick stuff up. Be thankful you don’t have to pick up each gold stack like the old days.

Not really seeing why this has anything to do with D2. Just because something was/wasn’t in D2 doesn’t mean it needs to be the same in every looter ARPG.

Ya’all need to stop acting like D2 was the second coming. It’s intensely embarassing at this point.

Bit of a pain to manually pick up boss mats. QoL options aren’t about things being difficult, but tedious. I’d rather everything go in the inventory and sort it out in town. And since I’m going to be playing that way, the pet might as well grab it all.

If it’s an option you don’t have to use it. This means you’re arguing that people should have to play they way you think they should. Not really any of your business.

It would be a nice option. I’d use that.

Glyphs are fine.

Yes to easier loot collection… also, increase the loot collection radius.

In Sacred 1 and 2 there was the possibility to collect everything that was on the ground by pressing a button (I think it was “A” if I remember correctly), the character would start walking around the screen taking all the objects that were there.
Having existed since 2004, it is actually a bit strange that a similar option has not been implemented in Diablo since 3, after all it is not something so out of this world considering the amount of loot that pops up.

Players don’t sell materials to vendors in town and a vaccusuck effect wouldn’t be applied to gear, just materials, so no, this wouldn’t make them have to go to town any faster. They’re still going to have to pick up any gear they want to keep or salvage the old fashioned way.

Got it, you just want to complain, but ulitmately, either Blizz will look at this and think its a great idea or they will laugh at me from their yachts.

Either it will happen or it wont

DIV wintersday goblin collector pet collects everything even the red orbs we need for the whisper events.

You have the chance to catch one if you defeat the hordes and finally the Treasure Goblin king himself…

… then you wake up.

Pet picks up everything now. What is the choice? Are Glyphs hard for you to level? Maybe give you a choice for Glyph’s that level with your level instead of doing pit or dungeons.

At the time D2 was it. D3 and D4 didn’t really move the bar if at all. They both have an identity crisis.

Sure, why not, but it’s been clear for about 12 1/2 years now that Blizzard isn’t interested in rehashing it and I’m pretty much over 12 1/2 years of “not D2” toxicity when people can just go play D2 or one of the many games that was inspired by it.

I get that it’s disappointing Blizzard hasn’t made a “true” follow up or whatever, but that ship sailed a long time ago, it’s well past time to cope and move on to greener pastures.

A loot filter would be nice, as everyone has been asking for forever.
Other ARPGs have this feature.

I hate grinding glyphs. We should be able to get glyph XP from more than one source. Any endgame activity we like should do it, IMO.

I think another thing the game needs is 100% deterministic crafting. There’s enough RNG in drops.
White, Blue, and Yellow items need something more too…Maybe you need them for deterministic crafting ingredients?

It’s been 12 1/2 years and they are still using the diablo title which was made famous by d2 so I wonder why lol… I mean with your own logic if they want to make a different game call it something other then diablo

Missed opportunity with D4. They should have started a new franchise of some sort. D4 was and is about greed.
