Chilled, Slowed, Frozen, Stunned

There is no in game help on this, and searching the forums it’s hard to find, but I’m sure these have been answered.

Is a Chilled enemy also considered Slowed?

Is a Frozen enemy also considered Chilled?

Is a Frozen enemy also considered Stunned?

Are all of the above considered Crowd Controlled?

Is Frost damage a child or parent of Cold damage, or are they unrelated?

What other affects like this are not clear and what is the verdict?

Chilled is not slowed.

Frozen is considered chilled, but not stunned.

I suggest you spend some time reading the tooltip of stats in the Materials & Stats panel.

Until you realize; that if you don’t equip an item with the associated affix, you can’t see the information.

We need a CODEX in the menu, considering all the damn things that can roll in this game.

Some people don’t even know these tooltips exist in the first place, and that’s what they should know first.

You can just add “Keep in mind that you need to actually have the stat to see the tooltip”, but no you have to be the “smarter guy”.

There’s no frost damage, it’s damage with Frost skills, which are any skill with the Frost tag on it. They usually deal cold damage, but there are other ways to deal cold damage too.

I was reading this and just no…this should not exist in a game! Whoever thought it was a good idea to label skills that do Cold damage as Frost instead of Cold should be flogged. It just makes no sense that we have to deal with this or any of the other 100 conditional damage rolls…I have Rogue gear with both +Imbued Damage and +Imbuement Skill damage… It just makes me want to not play the more of this I see. I keep playing and the its like the game keeps trolling me into quitting

Multiple classes deal cold damage in different ways, as do some uniques. Frost skills are a group of Sorc skills, the same way blood skills are a group of Necro skills. If you find something with cold damage, you can use it on a Rogue, whereas something with frost skill damage is just for Sorcs.

It’s such a hardship, I know. A game where determining the best item requires thought instead of just looking for green arrows.

You can whiteknight as hard as you want to, you can aspire to be Singularity but you need to work harder at belittling and insulting the vast majority of us who have very clear and defined issues with this game. Keep at it you’ll get there, feel free to continue practicing on me as I am immune to trolls, paid posters, white knights, and most of all Singularity.
