At the beginning of the season players were going in and killing Lilith getting 4 sparks at a time over and over, I thought Blizzard was supposed to do roll backs, and bans. Seems to me that Blizzard is no longer Blizzard. They allow cheating in games and get rewarded, now us normal players play and kill hundreds of bosses and can’t get nothing out of it. I personally have been averaging 100 dollars a season supporting Blizzard that being said with several accounts that I have purchased. Sadly after 25 years of playing Blizzards game have come to an end. You don’t have to worry about people going and playing POE2 anymore Blizzard because hell your running them there. The nut in the nut shell is this have a good one.
how the heck are you spending $100 every season?
Oh that’s nothing bro. We’ve seen way bigger numbers posted here…
Blizzard isn’t sending people to PoE 2, they’re just sending people away. Some have gone to PoE 2 for sure, but I wouldn’t say a huge amount. If we’re going by sales alone, PoE 2’s EA launch doesn’t hold a candle to D4’s.
Would be like saying Blizzard is sending people over to any other game. Just because D4 and PoE 2 happen to fall under the same genre umbrella doesn’t mean people are going to immediately switch between the two when one fails to meet their expectations.
Think of it this way, you’re debating what to do for dinner, your options are cook at home, fast food, or a sit down restaurant. However the last time you went to McDonalds they screwed up your order, doesn’t mean you suddenly want to eat at Taco Bell. They’re both fast food restaurants but they serve completely different types of food. Same principle applies.
Space Marine 2!! I’m mostly playing D4… but that’s my new favorite non-D4 game ![]()
Wife and I switched over to Orcs Must Die! Death Trap. It’s been a lot of fun. I’m still playing D4, but it’s taken a back seat for now.
D4 had an EA?
I keed I keed.
All of 3 days worth of EA technically.
Just used in a different context.
Well, me personally, I wish I could redirect the extra $60 I paid for that EA toward a different, legit EA sometime in that past EA’s future. I’d have justified buying me a kiwi companion.

…yet duping and RMT have been rampant since around launch.

Silence is golden just as it’s very telling(If I could only type a simple few sentences about D2 and D3…alas, It would be a novel)
Someone knows the truth and it’s not us.
As far as punishing exploiters: Some big “Names”(read: content creators) have fully, in great detail, publicized exploits.
No action taken.
This sends/sent a message.
Silence and inaction: This also has sent a message to the RMT department - which frankly it should be referred to from now on. It must be a feature of either US Corp holdings or possibly international holding(different laws and so on).
It all stinks and it’s all shady as hell.
Season pass + 2-3 outfits and you are easy there.
I mean, D4 still is an EA game.
I love the OMD games! My buddy and i binged the crap out of 1-3!
Sounds right. I admit though, POE 2 has ruined a lot of D4 enjoyment for me personally though because of A: POE 2 and B: How fast D4 has become.
I’ve just learned to compensate though. With this season of D4, I make sure I play at least one other game full on or two other games, casually, depending on the day. This helps stretch the experience of this D4 season, for me.
-Felt a lil odd at first cos I like to go full on in any game for a while but D4 has become a game that I have to find mini-mental games etc to make it last for more than a couple of days.
Ahahahaha. Just another whiner who thinks somewhere will be better.
I left after VoH and the season there was around that.
I’m not sure what made me leave. I think maybe that suddenly “play your way” wasn’t play my way anymore, but more “here’s how we think you should play thorns barb” and so, my wonderful Lazythorn was gutted.
I pondered installing diablo 4 again for this seasonal start, but immediately began yawning, and then i realized i still had diablo 3 PTR installed. Laughed to myself about the recent drama over on D3, poured myself another glass of water with lemon slices and ice cubes, and uninstalled battle.net client.
I still come here occasionally. Why? I don’t know, maybe it’s nostalgia, like how everyone thought they wanted D2, but really wanted more D3. Or like how everyone wants icecream until it’s time to go and buy the icecream, then nobody ever seems to volunteer to go pick it up.
I wish I could play D3 from the beginning again, erase everything from memory and relive Athene, Malmskaeg, Wudijo ban and my first GR 100, all over again.
Those are good memories. I tried the demo for Conquest Dark. Man that game seems fun. Can’t wait for an update. Also bought Bloodshed, something about the old graphics really spoke to me and the roguelite survivor genre seems to be something I really enjoy. I also got into LOTR Return to Moria, since it was free over on EGS during December giveaway. It can be a little frustrating to find my way around in, like actual pathfinding and navigating up and down, can be VERY confusing for me. However it’s COOP so if you and the wifey wants something to swing at goblins in, there’s that. It also has a really cozy homey “i make medieval dwarf tavern every corner” kinda townvibe to it.
I veered off topic a bit. Must be my age getting to me ![]()
When it comes to the aspect of cheating in D4, I kinda just wish they had an offline mode, imagine all the mods we have for D2, imagine what we could have had with D4. Almost criminal to think about now.
There will always be cheaters wherever there is a competitive element or a way to “show off status symbols”. We’ve seen cheating in many a games throughout the years. Remember Runescape? Yeah, not 3, not Oldschool, not 2, but CLASSIC. The very old sprite one? Botting used to be rampant there and at the end of classic’s life, it was a gem to find another genuine human walking around. But there was a shift in the playerbase I remember very vividly. The time that we found out, Jagex didn’t ban botters anymore. Cheating became the norm, because that was the only way to keep up and very soon it became: “Why aren’t you botting?”
D4 might eventually reach the same point. We saw this happen in D3 with Thud. “Why aren’t you using gps” or people even in public games going: “I have gmaps”. I spoke out about this many times, how I despise it, how I hate being punished by not using it, etc. etc.
Hopefully one day, Blizz will go back to their Zero Tolerance stance. Until then, you’ll find me at my local dwarven tavern, enjoying the ambience of Khazad-dûm
TLDR: D4 bad
MH Wild second Open beta in few days ![]()
Already played the first beta, looking forward to the next ones. Saved my character creation data just in case.
I will spend hours in the this open beta to do the most difficult task, which is create a good looking female character as we can import our character from beta to live game. Those character creation module in Japanese game like Elden Ring and Capcom has too many options and too complex. In Elden Ring I have to copy someone’s character creation sheet from Nexus Mod to make an attractive looking female character.
I hope I can get a character creation sheet for Wilds later when the game launch, as in Wild it seems we can change our appearance later in the game more than once.
why you call cheat instead is a bug?
