My in-game chat has not been working since yesterday.
This is not limited to Trade Chat. Local Chat, Party/Group Chat, and Trade Chat are all completely blocked. I cannot send or receive messages in any channel.
Every time I try to use chat, I receive this message:
“Chat access will be blocked until profanity filter is initialized.”
The game shows that I successfully joined the chat channels, but the profanity filter never initializes and all chat remains blocked.
I have restarted Diablo IV and Battle.net multiple times, but the issue still persists.
This issue started yesterday and is still happening today (September 26, 2026).
