So, I went away for vacation, came back and noticed my character seemed very slow and certain things not triggering. Realized my charms & seal weren’t actually working, even though looking as if they were. Looked into the bug, things said the easiest work around was removing all charms and the seal, re-equipping the seal first, then the charms.. Problem is, my charms will not re-equip AT ALL. They make the noise like they will/did, but nothing happens and the charms remain in my bags, and my charm slots remain empty. I have tried logging out, fully exiting the game, closing the game in Xbox, relaunching the game and still nothing.
I have a similar issue, I am playing on PC through steam and when I first got the talisman for my character everything worked, but after finishing the campaign I am unable to equip any charms into my talisman, I can’t even move them from my stash into my inventory, when I try to move a charm to my inventory, it says that it is an invalid slot for that item, but when I try to put one into the charm slot on the talisman it grays out for a second and then stays in the inventory, but I am able to replace the seals in the talisman slot.
So I am having a similar issue and hope they will fix it.. I just got my first ledgendary seal to drop and when I read it it says nothing about how many charm slots it opens. When I equip it appears to open 5 but it Grays out and of the charms I have equipment.. if I change back to my rare seal everything works as it should but im stuck with only 4 slots available
I’m having the same issue on Xbox. Unequiped all charms and seals and the seal will equip again but the charms don’t. Makes the sound to equip, charm Grey’s out then just sits there in my inventory. I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and it’s still happening. It’s only happening on my lvl 70 barbarian character, I have a lvl 70 warlock and the charms are working fine.
Issues with the seals are still ongoing. Happening on my level 70 necromancer and the only way I have even been able to equip 4 is by starting off with the lowest number of slots open, equip, and increase by 1 until I get to equipping the 5th. I cannot get anything to equip in the 5th or 6th slot after that mo matter what I do. The benefits from them are also not activating. Apparently this issue has been ongoing for awhile. Hopefully Blizzard will patch it soon because this aspect adds so much to your characters.

exact same problem here - are you Xbox Series X as well? or other platform
I have that exact same problem is the only way to fix it to make a new character and level it is my warlock bugged forever?
Im guessing it is something Blizzard is going to have to patch in order for them to start working correctly.
