I’m in WT4 and per my character’s stat sheet, my resistances are:
Fire Resistance: 82.7%
Lightning Resistance: 82.7%
Cold Resistance: 82.7%
Poison Resistance: 85.0%
Shadow Resistance: 82.7%
When I hover over my Poison Resistance to view the advanced tooltip, it states that I currently have +842.5% Poison Resistance from bonuses and -50% from penalties (-707.6% away from your Maximum Poison Resistance).
These amounts seem extreme. There is no way I have 842.5 Poison Resistance and with that amount how am I still -707.6% away from my max resistance. For reference, when I hover over my cold resistance it says that I currently have +186.6% Cold Resistance bonuses and -50.0% from penalties (-53.9% away from your maximum cold resistance). The cold resistance numbers seem much more reasonable to me. My Fire, Lightning and Shadow resistance tooltips reflect similar numbers to my Cold resistance.
I’m not sure if this is just a character stat display issue or if poison resistance is being calculated incorrectly.
