This is happening on a Lighting Storm Druid, no unstoppable skill in use.
So this seems to happen when I’m hit with any kind of CC. What I mean by getting stuck is the only button/key that works is dodge. I can’t move my character or use any ability. Dodging a couple times seems to fix the issue, but sometimes that takes a while if I don’t have any dodge charges.
My first thought was that it was my controller, so I tried another controller and the problem still persisted. Then I thought maybe the game just doesn’t like controllers, so I swapped to kb/m and I’m still getting the issue. My friends on console haven’t had this problem at all.
I’ve started levelling an alt because it’s happening so frequently, I mention this because I haven’t had this issue occur on my alt(Necro). So is it just a LS Druid problem? Maybe I haven’t gotten to the craziness of high level mobs yet so I’ll report back if I also get the issue on my Necro.
I agree. My sorc or barb were responsive but the druid gets blocked after a stun past time. I literally got out of stun and still couldn’t move or cast for 3 sec. Oddly enough evade worked.
My friend has a Necro which had the same issue. It stopped her from playing for awhile in disgust. Watching her as she tried to free herself I saw she would continuously (cooldowns allowing) have corpse tendrils cast. I finally noticed she had that skill bound to her left mouse (basic skill slot) button. I suggested she swap her basic skill to that button, which fixed the issue. Clearly, there’s an undesirable side effect (i.e a bug) using some skills with cooldowns in the basic slot which is bound by default to the same mouse button as for movement… on the PC anyway
It’s funny that you mention this, because I play as a necro and I’ve died a few times, while seemingly stuck. I haven’t figured out why. I’m not casting any skills when it happens, though, I do have that unique ring that auto-casts corpse skills. Perhaps that’s the problem?
this is an issue still today on my lightning druid, and its very annoying.
imma let you guys know how bad this bug is, even with 4 unstoppable evades (vamp evade aspect boots) you stay stuck even after using the evade 4 TIMES!!!
still an issue. i posted about in the the discord and got ignored. It seems to be worse off in some build combos then others… random pauses. Why i never play hardcore, kinda a buggy mess, then you throw in the required server lags and skips. No level of precision playing to be had. im also getting a new one where ablities just stick in the on postion and cant get out of it till i respam the ability.
Still an issue with necromancer this time around. Also its even worse.
