I can’t log into any seasonal characters so that’s not a fix for me. I made others to see if only one was affected, and nope, it’s all in that playlist. Maybe it’s something that Blizzard will see and be able to get into the bits and bytes of the saves and change for those of us who can’t do it through other characters.
Hi, fix doesnt work, i cant log to game with my main seasonal class.

cannot try the fix since I’m locked out of all of my eternal characters. I was moving stuff to my stash when i got kicked out.
I can create a new seasonal or eternal hardcore character and it works. Seems like it only affects my softcore eternal characters since they share a stash.
I haven’t been able to log in to my seasonal sorc for over two weeks now. I’ll try emptying out my inventory.
It’s a big bummer this happened. Lost a lot of motivation to play this game.

Thanks for this suggestion I’ll give it a try later when I have some time, I do have certain elixers and sigils in my stash. I’ve stated before though that I have other consumables in the affected characters stash. So if your theory is correct it’s possible that the culprit consumable is one that is on the character itself not the stash. It IS however a potential fix.
Yeah no, If I am required to use elon musk’s cesspool of toxicity to solve a game issue then, I’ll gladly uninstall the game.
I deleted Twitter a long long time ago and, I find it unacceptable for Blizzard to use such a website to handle official business, when they have an official website of their own right here.
However to the Blizzard Devs who are attempting to solve this…

Also, I would like to believe they can see our btag from information associated to our posts. I work for a company 1/30th the size as blizz and we have easy access to info such as that purely from people browsing our website.
Well this was SUPPOSED to be an EDIT on my previous post… Apparently the site doesn’t want me to… So I’m making another post. I swear the people running this company have pea soup for brains
I just tried to move all consumables out of my stash and onto other characters. The affected character is still bugged.
Therefore either my issue isn’t related to stash consumables at all or, the corrupt bit is in the character’s inventory. Assuming of course the problem is a corrupt item in the first place.
It seems like anyone who has this issue has some variations of the same issue.
Also considering just how dumb stashes and inventory is handled in the game, it doesn’t surprise me that the constant connectivity issues and, constant checking of other player’s stashes, would cause corruption issues.
I tried this proposed fix and moved all my stash to an alt, no luck i still cannot log in my seasonal toon. i think the egg might be the issue though, i had just got my first when i was disconnected and could not log in anymore.

The Hot fix did seem to fix my issue. just to be safe I removed all gear from both seasonal characters just in case it bugged again and swapped back and forth between toons, and it appears to be cleared . Im on PS5 . I hope they can fix your characters. But it seems after I posted the name of my character in question it was resolved. but I cant find the post where I specifically named the character in question.
It has now been 26 days and 8 hours and I cannot log in still.
I didn’t want to use it. Been trying to avoid it as much as possible so I understand.

For 2 weeks not a single character sharing the Seasonal-server Stash can log in.
( =not a single Seasonal character)
All other servers (Eternal, HC-Seasonal, HC-Eternal) work fine.
Blizzard, this is embarrassing.
I’m glad some people have got their login issues fixed with the consumables trick, alas, not an option for me. All of my SC seasonal characters are locked out and I can’t create a SC seasonal character without being kicked to the character selection screen.
I got an email about my ticket regarding this issue, read something to the tune of “we don’t have a fix for this yet and are working on it”. Keeping my fingers crossed.
In the meantime, trying to convince myself that I can play HC seasonal since thats the only way I’m going to get to play any seasonal content now, but does suck that I have to grind renown and everything all over again. Alas.
