Honestly not sure if this is a bug. But, if it’s not, it doesn’t make sense.
Playing couch coop, I found some really nice boots for my partners barbarian while playing my rouge. The only issue was the boots rolled skills to rouge. No big deal, swap out the skill for another desirable stat and we’re good.
So traded him the boots, he enchanted the item at the occultist to change the affix from +rouge caltrops to dodge chance. However, the boots are rouge only still so he can’t use them on the barbarian. To be clear, the boots no longer possessed a +rouge skill.
So if that’s not a bug, then what the heck man. I’m couch coop with someone and I can’t trade them something that would be good for them? I can’t trade them legendary items or aspects. I can’t re-roll the affixes myself because it will bind it to the account. I can’t trade them crafting materials. I can’t trade them unique items. The only thing I can trade someone I’m sitting right next to is rare items. If we’re not playing the same character the chances are greatly reduced that I find something desirable for their build. Then, when I do, if it rolls a single skill it’s just a dead item?
Then, the even more frustrating issue, lets say I wanted to use them on my own alternate barbarian…nope. They’re rouge only. That’s just silly. People have brought up many complaints about trading already but I feel like this is just taking way beyond the limit.
