I’ve been a Diablo fan since I first downloaded the D1 demo in the Pleistocene. D1, D2 and D3 were all great games in their own way in their own time. I had such high hopes for D4 (as we all did) but every season it just get worse and worse. I keep coming back for each season ever hopeful, but get kicked to the curb every time. I played all of six days this season. I feel like Charlie Brown and the football. I keep hoping Lucy wont pull the ball away. But like Charlie, I just never learn. I’m sure I’ll be back for S9 and just as sure I’ll be disappointed.

I’ll say it again:
Every one of these games releases horribly and is fixed over time. The more complex the engine the longer the time. We remember the games as their finished products not as their WIPs. Come back in 2 seasons, maybe 3, and just chill until then. Game will be better.
I mean remember that the game we are playing even now is severely different than launch to the point where half of it’s affixes no longer exist.

The real question is, has Charlie given Lucy hundreds and/ or thousands of $$ for this interaction? Another ‘real’ question is, does Charlie plan to continue giving her money before she has delivered on the high quality football-kicking experience he craves?
If so, Charlie might be whipped & maybe the gang needs to do an intervention. Is the thread a cry for help? Charlie- blink twice if you need an intervention, buddy.

It’s like this…except Lucy would charge Charlie for the: game console, game pass, seasonal pass, oh and did you want COSMETICS for your character?!? Yeah we’ll charge for that, too.
