Can someone tell me how to change stats on items? IE strength to dex
You can’t choose. It is random. You go to the occultist and choose to enchant the item. YOu can pick the stat to change and it randomly rolls 2 options for you to pick or you can keep what’s on it.
If you keep what’s on it you still lose your mats.

Rare items can have one affix on them changed at the mystical person.
Head there and the far right tab in the NPC interface is Enchant. Drop the item into the enchant window, select the ONE aspect you want to change, and change it. It will give you three options to select from - two new ones and the option to keep the old.
If you don’t like any, you can roll that same affix again. Costs go up each time you roll it on that item.

Yes, yes it is expensive. You don’t want to roll more than once or twice unless it is very important. Usually something better will drop.
That’s exactly what I do, see a item that has 2 or 3 of the stats that you want? throw 1-2 enchants at it and hope it lands, if not then toss it and wait for something else.
Very similar to D3. But I can’t seem to find a list of potential affixes that can replace the one you choose, like there was on D3. Do you know if there is a way to see that before rolling? I think it used to be just an info button beside the affix. Can’t find it now. That was very useful. I hope they didn’t get rid of it. It really helped me to plan my builds using minimal mats.

It’s not the price that bugs me it’s the fact that you can only change one like you wait forever to finally get a decent ring and it’s got two stats you don’t like but I guess now I’m stuck with physical damage on my necromancer LOL
