I own the base D4. My wife bought the expansion last season on her account, and I was able to play it on our PS5 without issue. We both use the same PS5 and it’s the only PS5 we own. Now this season I don’t have access to any of the expansion content when I’m not actively playing with her, and even when I am playing with her, runes aren’t dropping. She has an entire bag full of runes, and I don’t even have the tab for runes in my bag. I completed the rune quest line last season. Did Blizzard break decades of console etiquette and require every console user to buy the expansion this season, or is this somehow bugged out?
How are your accounts set up? Did you buy 2 standard editions or just one?
Nvm, the issue seems to be related to a bug with campaign progress. Neither of our campaign progress was stored from last season and we had to run the whole thing again together. But the game didn’t store any of my progress and I had to run the whole campaign again for a third time. The zone unlocked, and runes started dropping after completing the campaign quests a third time.
