Developers dont know anything about their game, the sorc has only hydra nothing else. Even the chain was weak at lvl 25, rest of the spells are just garbage and they even nerfed chain why?
I preordered and I am so angry they ruined the class even before release. So I am forced to play hydra for 1000 hours becouse everything else is garbage now,
Too good at aoe and single target damage to the point it was the only spender in many builds. Too good.
stop exaggerating. There were more builds that worked in beta.
Chain lightning was too strong on Bosses if build correctly.

It wasnt op af. first levels maybe but at 25 chain was weak. I wasnt even using it and went full hydras.
While I do think chain lightning was strong, I don’t feel like it was the main concern as the Sorcerer. It’s weird to adjust that skill and not Hydra.
I was killing bosses like they were nothing.
From the look at that video, CL was far stronger than Hydra. They didn’t talk about Bosses that are immune to Freezes and Stuns, though, which hydra doesn’t struggle with, but Frost and Lightning do.

Hydra had scaling issues. Cant remember what it was, but you can just open that second kripparian sorc video. he explained it pretty well.
I didn’t bother to watch his stuff. I looked at his tier list, and it was all wrong. Just assumed the guy had no idea what he was talking about.
This was kill with ultimate complete nonsense.
yeah, i mean you should always check for yourself. and ofcourse his personal tierlist was pretty biased. But you can be sure he tinker with sorc enough to know what he is talking about, cause he wants to play that class

why is it nonsense. You would always use the ultimate on bosses.
Its the fact that you can get Core/basic and other mulitpliers on weapons, but no conjuration multiplier was his guess. Which means the 2xhydra makes perfect sense if you get core 100% on weapon slots but not hydra, since they would balance out a bit.
Doesnt matter. 90% of this forum beleives the game should be balanced on level 25 content

It was overperforming.
It was an aspect and mechanic away from being the equivalent of a GoD spin to win lazy build if it could.
Blizzard doesn’t know how to buff bad spells. They only know how to nerf good ones. I see it all the time in their other games.
Powercreep needs to be reined in.
Dunno what you were playing, but with a fully geared sorc my chain lighting melted everything in a second.
Me playing barb , taking me a full 2 minutes to kill an elite mob then this sorc just teleports in casts 3 chain lightning … not only is the elite dead and gone but so are all the ads , how to make a barbarian reconsider his life choices and instantly turning him into a doomer , that’s why OP , THAT’S WHY 
Just wait till your barb’s scaling just annihilates Sorcerer scaling.
