Does this ever proc? It should proc all the time. I’ve seen the extra CL spawn 1 time. The time I saw it, it proc’d from spending mana with Hydra. I suspect that 2 CL’s occupying the same path and space look a lot just like 1 CL.
Edit: Ignore this. I’m now sure that I’m seeing 2 CL’s forking from the same cast.
There was a very good video from Rage Gaming I saw that walked through this issue in slow motion.
The conclusion was that the animal was either off or stacked on top of each other so it only looked like one but the damage numbers shown in slow motion frame by frame indicated it was in fact the two lightnings.
What I saw a lot was the CLs occupying the same space and then forking after a couple of jumps.
