Chain lightening mana regen help please

I got my sorc to 60 last night for my second character and am roughly paragon 150. As you can imagine I’m having mana issues and run out far too quickly. Can you please give me all the advice you can give to help me be able to spam chain lightening more?

I have two lucky hit affixed to restore primary resource and I’m missing the recharging aspect, I suppose I could go to the dungeon to get the baseline one but I don’t see how the chain lightening arc restoring just one mana can help that much, I need a 3+ one so bad.

My enchantments are the chain lightening and frost blades. Should I switch to the fire ball one that applies burning from my damage and use the passive that burning enemies give bonus mana regen?

Basically I need a comprehensive guide on all things resource management for a chain lightening sorcerer including affixes and tempers or anything

I think the key is to get equipment that boosts mana regeneration and mana reduction. Also there are paragon board choices that boost mana. I found Axial Conduit to help. Just make sure to maximize the regen and maximum affix. Also you can use the enchantment slots to get free casts of certain skills. It is helpful to get an item that gives added core skill levels this way you can pick a skill that you have not equipped.

You will probably need some aspects to help with the mana until you get mythics. Recharge is definitely 1. Bobwalt was right with having axial conduit to help.
I can get you a tal rasha to start if you want. Probably a rainment and frost burn as well. It won’t help with mana but it will help with damage.

Have Luck hit chance at 100% and the affix % chance to restore % mana anywhere.
It will do the infinite mana trick.

With Axial Conduit:

  • Ignore resource cost reduction as this does not impact the mana drain from the unique affix.
  • Go for Mana Per Second on every piece where it’s available - Helmet, chest and boots.
  • Use the Static Surge paragon node.
  • Temper resource generation on rings, not lucky hit restore. Combined with MPS affixes it’s very effective.
  • Firebolt enchantment plus Fiery Surge increases mana regeneration even more. Also, the CL enchantment is really bad and Firebolt enchantment allows use of the Devouring Blaze passive (very strong) and all of the + Damage to Burning and Damage Reduction from Burning paragon nodes plus the Flamefeeder glyph. That’s why its standardly included in almost all Sorc builds.

Without Axial Conduit:

  • Definitely use Recharging Aspect along with Unbroken Tether.
  • RCR is useful.

General Pointer:

Destructive Chain Lightning generates a very large quantity of crackling energy with decent crit chance. You can use this with the Invigorating Conduit passive to get free mana. This is often more useful while leveling than in end game but if you still struggle with mana it is a useful stopgap.

it works perfectly. I never run out of mana and I keep the CH button down the whole time.
I put the affix in the sword.

Intellect
% chance to restore % mana
Critical Strike Damage

And its easy to reach 100% Luck Hit Chance

Heir of Perdition, Ring of Starless Sky, Tal Rasha and 4 points in the passive Presicion Magic do the job
