I bought the ultimate edition it does It does not let me play as I don’t know what to do

I am having the same issue on xbox. In game there is status that I hsve bought the game.
But on Microsoft store I have to buy it again. Blizzard hello? Wake the hell up?

Ttry log out and restart your console. I had to do that on Playstation 5. Now I have another gamebreaking bug but relogging should make you able to make a Spiritborn and start the expansion.
Mine isnt working either. Says i own them. Hard reset wouldnt work nor did logging in akd out. What the hell Blizzard. Refund

OK figured it out. For Xbox users you will need to manually install the expansion.
From the home page, make sure you are on/selected D4.
Press Start > Manage game and add-ons > Select Diablo IV (Game Installed)
Under Downloadable add-ons select the Vessel of Hatred (tick the check box)
aannnd install or something I can’t remember exactly…
Once it says installed then you should be able to select Spirit born!
