Can't solve the colorful glyphs puzzle in cellars with summons / companions around

Because they keep moving around and can trigger the glyphs if they step on them, thus make it impossible to complete the puzzle.
All the cellar puzzles drive me nuts, and I hope they either make it easier to complete or better remove them all.
