I had issues with this as well.
Essentially, if player goes to bottom third of arena, the wall asset in the front of arena pops in, obstructing the arena view. Having highlights enabled allows for tracking through the wall somewhat, but you’re still handicapped, because you don’t see attacks very well. Basically requires you to limit your movement to a more confined space just to keep visibility.
Ideally, that wall asset should be disabled for the duration of the fight, so it doesn’t “pop-in” obstructing things.
It’s not just the player you can’t see. You can’t see the holes in the ground that Durian makes that impede your movement. Highlights don’t help with that.
This is disgustingly bad boss/arena design.
Six deaths now. I’m faced with having to leave Caldeum just to ride all over Sanctuary so I can unlock extra potion slots. So much for the battle to save Sanctuary. Very immersion breaking.
I’m the correct level for the quest, which means I’m pacing as intended, and have run three chars to 35 working out how Diablo gear/skills work, so my character is no snowflake.

So I’ve just watched a Youtube video of this fight with a sorcerer, and for that player, the wall in question clears away, and they have a clear view of the entire arena.
No wonder I died so easily. The level is bugged for some players.
