For some reason I can create a new topic here but I cannot post inside the other forum topics.
I have cleared my cache, but am still having the same problem.
Any ideas?

Do you have a PC Diablo 4 game license? It is required to post on most of the forums. Tech Support is an exception that does not require a license.
If you do, log totally out of the forums and back in. Or try a different browser. That should force the forums to update and see your game license to allow posting.
EDIT - I just noticed you are Console. Right now those seem to be locked.

Having the same issue here, but can reply in this portion of the forums only. Also have a console account. Can’t participate in the console forums either or the class specific forums.
Edited to mention that I checked every other forum as well and the only place I can post is here in technical support.
With cross play there should also be cross participation in forums. It would be a shame if console players can’t also share their voice regarding Diablo 4.

When the forum is working properly you should be able to post in the Console forums.

Still though comsole players should be able to post on the class forums. It feels like we are treated as the red headed step child of the forums. Maybe blizzard can do somthing like you must have played x amount of hours post if they arent giving console players codes with their purchases.
We have only one blue post since the first preorder beta… thats it.

I have been chatting with folks. Keep in mind I don’t work for Blizz, and this could be wrong.
You may need to log into the game Live to synch licenses and Bnet accounts. Then log out and back into the forums.
I would give that a try after Launch. It won’t harm anything certainly.

Yeah that’s a bum deal if console owners can only post in console discussion. This game has full cross play…makes no sense not to be included in the class discussion. The beta ran shockingly well on ps5 and probably just as well on series x.
I understand the reasoning behind restricted access because for sure some of those console topics veered wildly off topic. Since the forum also has a trust level built in for full access to certain features crossing a certain threshold should also enable access to more forums.
That doesn’t do much to help someone that is new, however new members are already restricted to a certain number of posts per day and topics which can be created. What discussions they do participate in however can be liked, pinned, marked or flagged but others on the forum and that sort of activity should also be tracked for trust level.
There are plenty of way to keep track of forum members and either improve or demote or lock rankings all together. I say this as someone who moderated online forums for the competition years ago.
Since the devs are finally letting us play together in game, I sure hope they also allow us to participate in constructive discussions in the official forums together as well. Otherwise the only voice we will have will end up on a 3rd party platform and likely ignored.
When the forum rules changed, I couldn’t reply to/create any topics.
I had a valid license and also tried re-logging several times while closing the browser.
Deleting the “cookie” related to BNet. Did the Job.

I’m here from Blizzard to confirm that this is correct. Basically, you need to link your console/battle.net accounts, THEN log into the game at least once on your console account. This pushes the license that lets you access the forums. It’s impossible to do this until launch so in the mean time if you have problems with things that are technical in nature, please let us know!
I’ll create a sticky thread now to make sure console players can find this info more easily!

This forum is my jurisdiction so I’ll set it up here for now. I’ll see if I can get someone to post a clone in the other forums as well!

I see, so they DID deliberately lock all the console players out of the forums 24 hours before launch.

Thank you, oh great blizz lords, for the crumbs on the floor, having access to 3 out of 15 of the forums is better than nothing, but only as compared to nothing.

Okay, that’s what it was then. I thought I got banned which would be a bit weird since I can post/reply on D3 forums. Today I noticed that US D4 console forums were open again but it didn’t take long before I lost access again after I responded to thread about beta wolf cosmetic. Have been playing game without any issues though.
I can’t post a new topic in “General Discussion Console”. I tried a different browser. I have also tried logging out and back in. In my settings I can see that my console has been connected with Battle.net.

Same issue here. I have played on PS5, linked my PSN and Bnet account… still cannot post.
Tried all the things you’ve mentioned and I still can’t post on most forums… including the one for my class and the console.
ONLY PLACE WHERE REPLY ACTUAL WORKS! This is pure BS why so hard to post on this site!!!
