Game keeps saying to early and not installed

My xbox also keeps telling me “you’re too early”. Have restarted console. Have uninstalled and re-installed the game. No joy. Feeling lied to.

Same for me. When i tried installing the game it just installed a few bytes and then it was ”finished”. But it isnt listed as ”installed”. When i try to start the game it says im too early.

Same here. Exact same message, “You’re too early”. Points me to the Microsoft store and it shows the game has been fully installed and ready to play. Rinse and repeat.

Same - confused. Pre-ordered - do I have to enter a key somewhere? Should be included, no?

Im not sure on PS5 but for Xbox you cant load the actual game you bought. In the Microsoft store there is a D4 Open Beta version you have to download to play.

Once i got that one i was able to log in.

You have to download the Diablo IV open beta on the Microsoft store. 75gb. I’m just stuck in que. Been here for 20 minutes.

Yes, you have to download open beta version from store.

Didn’t have problems logging in. Queue was short at least for me on Xbox.

Microsoft was supposed to send you a notification to download the Open Beta app from the store. Go to the store and look for Diablo IV - Open Beta. It is a 76GB download so I don’t know yet if this fixes the problem, but certainly seems to be moving in the right direction.

Getting error 300202
Can’t get past character creation. Restarted the game and now I’m in a 16min queue!!!

This exact thing just happened to me, was in the “Menu” screen with no option to return to my character after getting network disconnected, so I had to re-queue again and now a 60 minute wait…

Edit: also on PS5

You all downloaded and install the open beta version of the software, right? You’re not all trying to run the retail build/stub?

I figure you are, but just want to make sure. You actually have to download a separate “game” (aka client) for the open beta.
