Can't get Sigils. Can't craft Sigils. No Quest. Level 54

I got 2 from a whisper, did one got disconnected on the second. I can’t craft them its grayed out.

I’ve done 8 more whispers and no sigils. I’ve done a world boss and no sigils. I’ve done hell tides and no sigils.

This is ridiculous. I’ve sent hours and hours trying to get into nightmare dungeons but I can’t.

I can’t craft sigil’s either. I was in a party of 4 and maybe our quest alignment was off.

I tried relogging, changing worlds, updating quest log by finishing a side quest. Nothing allows me to craft nightmare sigils.

Same here… I am lvl 52 have done all quests, even did a nightmare dungeon with a sigil but cant craft them…

After completing a T3 sigil dungeon, the quest appeared

same here. i can’t craft sigil after finish the nightmare quest.

I’m 59, still can’t craft any sigil. I’ve use and do nightmare dungeons, just crafting it is grey.

Level 50+ here, I got disconnect with my first sigil activated. I can’t find another one or craft them. I can’t play nightmare dungeon. Please advice

Level 62 and same here. I finished the nightmare sigil quest and nothing happened after. I have tons of T1 sigils and the bar is still greyed out at the occultist. There is no more quests. I cannot craft after days of waiting. I have tried the method of trying to get a t3 sigil to drop to make the quest start but after running several nightmare dungeons I still only have t1 sigils. Pretty huge bug.

Same for me,
I ran cap stone dungeon with a party of 3 but some how I did not unlock the crafting option
I cannot break down or upgrade sigils at the vendor (I have plenty level 1 sigils)

Well I finally got the quest. I got it immediately after completing a T4 nightmare dungeon and it opened up crafting. I got my t4 sigil from a random drop from a t1 dungeon. My best guess is you have to meet the following req.

  1. Level (I heard 52)
  2. Complete a higher tier nightmare dungeon (I read t3 or higher)
  3. Maybe complete X amount of nightmare dungeons before you either get quest or another higher tier drops. I did at least 5 dungeons or more before I got the quest and t4 sigil.
    I hope this helps guys. Either way, it was very poorly explained mechanics wise for opening it up.

Same here. I did about 15 lvl 1 and 2 Nightmare dungeons to try to get a lvl 3 key to drop…and NOTHING. I am lvl 60.

I completed the Torment Capstone Dungeon, farmed WT4 Tree of Whisper Quests to get a lvl 21 Ancestral Nightmare Dungeon Key. I completed that dungeon and finally got the quest to craft sigils.

It is ridiculous that i had to do this.

I had to have a friend carry me through a T3 level 17 Nightmare Dungeon key and the quest spawned!

When you’ve completed your first Level 3 Nightmare Dungeon, a quest will pop up that will eventually unlock Salvaging and Crafting Sigils.

  • This should be mentioned on the Occultist’s inactive tabs.
  • I would love to see the Level of the monsters on the Sigils. I crafted the highest ones for 3rd difficulty (think they were 17) and then met Level 70 enemies while I was 10 Levels lower (surprisingly I could handle them but was scared af in the beginning).
  • We have the full affix description on the dungeon map… I would love to see a very compact version without opening the map (maybe an icon and a few words) but no idea how many of them exist.

I have done 10 runs of favors for the tree of whispers, 10 caches later still have to see my first sigil. I don’t know what else to do to get them and run my first NM dungeon. I really need help on this.

How did you get your first sigil? I still haven’t seen one and I’m level 59

Get a few loot caches and open them. (10 grim favor → tree, world bosses, …?)
I gathered some and opened all in a row.
No clue which ones dropped the sigils. (Some did not.)

With 0-4 sigils per NM dungeon it should not be hard to get a few more just by finishing NM dungeons?

lvl 50, I did nm 1 and 2. I was stuck with no sigil nor crafting. I did a legion and got 2 lvl nm from the end chests

did 2 nightmare dungeons and quest is gone but tabs are still greyed out for me.

Blizzard doesn’t care or want to help either

I’ve even got sigil powder and stuff to craft with but i can’t access the sigils tab for some reason and nno one gives a crap or answers the question with anything other than do the quest, well i did and its crap

Same here.
Did a nm from Tree of whisper and tha questline for crafting a Sigils is gone.
I cant craft or anything the quest is gone and everything is greyed out.
And yes im in T3
