I was a bit late to the start of the season, stupid work, and I started downloading when I was on my way home. after about 40 minutes, I was still on the initializing step for the update. I had a Bnet update, so I restarted the app and tried updating again. the initializing was incredibly slow, so I checked my internet speed, which was over 100Mbps. Next I checked the battle.net help page, and they suggested that I go into my Run dialog and delete the 3 battle.net files; I did that and the initializing is still insanely slow. Finally, I restarted my PC, and the issue is still persisting. while typing all of this, my initializing has gone up 0.32 MB.
Is anyone else having this issue? or is there any other way to fix this? If the initializing is this slow, I hope that the download isn’t nearly as bad; but with 56 MB left, this is going to take all night.
