Hi,
ive tried the quest multiple times, the cave is big, with the barbarian ca. 10 minutes to clear, till the end everything is smooth, but in the last room when i´ve defeated the boss, the quest is stuck in the dialogue with the shaman on the ground. After congratulating the chieftain and me for succeding where he failed he asks how the bear tribe people are doing, and then nothing happens, theres no further dialogue, theres nothing to do. And after restarting the quest doesnt count as finished.
Please look into it.

Same thing happened to me and while I was researching how to fix it (and got distracted with other stuff) the quest completed on it’s own. So I guess if you wait long enough it will fix itself. Still the quest definitely needs attention.
I have the same issue. Good to know it eventually figures itself out, I thought it might have just been an improve wait command somewhere, and if you just wait, it’ll do its thing.
Definitely a bug to be fixed.
EDIT: In the time it took me to get annoyed, google it, type that post and tab back into game, it fixed itself. Say, 2m tops.
I am in the first room with the blood barrier where you need to kill Gnarl, but he didn’t spawn. I have reset and abandoned the quest multiple times now.

Ping? Is there a solution to this Bug? Stuck on this quest because I cannot pass the blood barrier.
I ran into the same situation today. I tried everything I could think of as a workaround; including a fix I found on the internet. (Of abandoning the Quest, switching World Tiers and switching back again). Nothing worked.
I could never get the first Boss, Gnarl to spawn. Funny, the first time I attempted this, the Chat Window showed that I had engaged Gnarl. (See image below).

But, he was not any of the monsters I fought and killed. (Only Ice Clan Impalers and Ice Clan Maulers).

Same issue blood door won’t open. Still need to kill the boss never showed up. Watching for a hopeful fix
So after posting this, I left the cave and sat there as I looked up possible solutions. I thought I’d found one so re entered. Everything had respawned, and making my way through (no fixes found) he was just there along with the other respawns and I was able to beat him and continue.
So…just go outside and wait awhile until the cave resets? I didn’t log out or anything.
