Has anyone else had this issue since the patch yesterday? I can still do the combat/attack dismount but the regular dismount doesn’t work (default right click). I’ve tried changing the key binding and restarting the client several times but it still doesn’t work. Out in the world it isn’t too much of an inconvenience but it gets annoying in town where the attack dismount is greyed out so the only option is to run out of town and do a combat dismount there when I need to. The icon will “click” on the hotbar to indicate that it’s registering it but no dismount actually happens.

Same, though I can’t attack dismount either.
I can see my button presses registering (Z or right mouse click to dismount, 1 for attack dismount) but no action occurs.
It looks like my character is in a pseudo t-pose while on horseback - she doesn’t hold the reigns or lean into the run. Just sits up stick straight with her arms straight down to her sides.
Also noticed, I interacted my a teleport while on combat, couldn’t use teleport. I could teleport like normal if I opened the map and clicked on a teleport like usual. I just couldn’t do so with interacting with the teleport while on horseback.
Everything was fine yesterday, so maybe something to do with the pets? I don’t remember if I could dismount like normal before I picked up my pet during today’s play session.

Just tested: I unequiped my pet, dismount was still bugged.
Yeah I saw some people talking about the pet trick but it didn’t work for me either.

I’ve also been experiencing this issue, only able to dismount by starting to open a town portal and interrupting the cast. The actual issue for me is that the mount I’m using, the paid mount Polaris, has disappeared from my stable despite all the other pieces of the bundle still being there.
This is a widespread issue with more posts on the forums about it, and I’m hoping for an official response and fix soon. Paid items disappearing is REAL bad no matter when it happens, but it’s especially not giving me confidence to pre-purchase the expansion.
My main Sorc, I cannot dismount or Combo attack/dismount. I have to be knocked off the horse to do anything… I also can’t pet my dog. Restarted the game, issue persists. Button presses are visible but no action. Works for my friends Barb…?
On my rogue I can attack dismount but not Z dismount… Still can’t pet the dog on there either.
Yes. Ever since I did the quest to unlock the new in-game pet, I can’t dismount from my horse. I tried unequipping the pet, but that did not resolve the issue.
Im having the same issue with all 4 of my seasonal characters regarding the dismount issue and appears to be riding weird while on horseback. i have not tested this in eternal.
So I don’t know if you guys checked but if you have one of the horses equipped, that you no longer have access to due to the patch. It will stop you from dismounting. The first thing you should do is go to the stable guy and check and see if you still have the mount that you’re on if not, you have to change them out until they fix whatever happened to the other horses.

After the recent patch, there was a bug that caused a lot of people to lose access to a lot of their horses and if you have that horse equipped, the game is registering you as not having it, so it won’t allow you to dismount, but it will allow you to mount the horse Strange I know but I lost access to my season of the blood horse, but I had it equipped still so I could mount the horse, but I couldn’t dismount and after I switched it out for one of the horses I still have, I could dismount.
Thanks for the info. This worked for me. Hopefully they restore the missing mounts soon.
Also unable to dismount, or attack dismount. Only able to use the portal trick while my character is stuck in a T-pose. Adding my comment so hopefully this thread gets some attention.
This is second day when i can not use mount because i can not dismout. When i mount i have to relog because nothing else helps.
