Cannot get Hawezar side quest Glittering Abundance to trigger

Title says all. Side quests is at 49/50.

I had spent two days going from north to south, east to west to try to get my last Hawezar side quest with drop but felt like wasting my time. I clicked on every ore, every plant, every dead body, every loose stone and killed “snakes” but no luck.

I am sorry I did not keep track of what I had completed earlier. I am pretty certain it is one of the following side quests.

Chained Zakarum Repository
Glittering Abundance
Hungering Necrolyte’s Cache
Timeworn Effigy
One Little Red Sprig
Venom of the Nangari

I completed Drink to the Past, Good Riddance, Overstepping the Mark (Lyndon’s quest line), Heart’s Burden (Rusted Dagger) and Remembering the Fallen so it is none of these. I also used an online guide to eliminate the other side quests which are non-drop triggered.

Since there is currently no way to check which side quests are completed, I created a new character to do all side quests, checking off completed side quests from a list as I went.

I think that Glittering Abundance has a bug. All the ores I went to at Dismal Plains or Fethis Wetlands just would not give the Gem-laded Geode. This cannot be a coincidence on two characters.

Can someone please check the drop rate for Gem-laded Geode?

Very frustrating and much time was wasted.

same, i (spiritborn, eternal realm) just completed all side quests in the other regions and with hawezar am at 49/50. i know 100% that it is the glittering abundance quest because i tracked my progress with map genie. i have opened hundreds, it not near a thousand, ore nodes in the region but none have dropped the quest item.

surely the drop rate cant be this low or some how the quest is broken. as a completionist, this is a thorn in the side as i have spent so many play hours to complete every region with all 6 classes. the thing is, the game clearly tracks which side quests we have done but there is no in-game option to see. would it be so difficult for the devs to do this? no, but probably rock bottom in terms of priority unfortunately. shame too, would be such an easy and good QOL improvement to get done.

I had this same issue, was on 49/50 for a long time. Glittering Abundance was the one I was missing. It dropped for me, it does HAVE TO BE a GLITTERING Ore Vein though, there are just “Ore Veins” as well.
