Cannot Connect to Diablo IV

I have submitted a ticket and they just referred me to the forums. I have tried many different things about the connection issues I am having. I can open the game but since the new patch when it goes to login it disconnects me from Battle.net which then in turn disconnects me from logging in. Once out of like 25 I can log in but the minute I go to do anything reconnecting to Diablo 4 services shows up, then it times out and takes out my whole internet. This is the only game that appears to be doing it. I can Play WoW perfectly fine and other games on steam requiring network connection is perfectly fine. I sent everything in and during trace route it seems to just drop off midway when trying to communicate with the server. I have even gone through the lengths of trying a VPN that wasn’t even working so that the game was playable. At this point I have tried most everything on the forums to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

I’m basically having the same issue. I can login and get to the Character Select screen, then when I try to start a game I get an error saying “Diablo IV was unable to retrieve necessary data. Please check your network connection” and the game closes. Where are you located? No need to be very specific, for example I’m in Portugal, and sometimes there are outages that are only affecting certain regions.

I am having the same problem. I can’t even submit a ticket because it gets rejected. I hope this gets settled. Where are the devs?? Why can’t I talk to a person?
