I was in a NM dungeon and came across an XP well. I cannot click on it. I am level 60, in paragon… not sure if that has anything to do with it?
Same Post level 60 (239P), and i have not been able to click on any experience wells i’ve come across while running NMD. I’ve tried not having any other XP buffs, not being at full hp, killing monsters near it, and having a guild mate come in and try to click on the well, but nothing changes the fact that i or other party members can’t click on them to get the 1 hour 15% xp buff.

just replying that i’m also running into this issue on pc

everything else seems interactable like normal, only xp wells aren’t ‘highlighting’ like they’re something i can click.

Me and three friends all also experiencing this pretty much 9/10 of the time. It’s gotten to the point where when we find one we can actually use, a mini celebration erupts in our discord chat. We’re all level 60 Spiritborn, 3 of us are on PC and one on Console.

following up on this, after 3 unusable, i was able to use the next i found.
this time i tried to interact with the ‘muck’ on it instead of blasting it off with a skill and it worked. no idea if that actually makes a difference or not.

I am just another person encountering this same bug and looking for a place to cry/vent. I had been hunting for an XP well for about 30mins or so. I have been thru a bakers dozen of sigils and when I finally find one its broke. I am astonished by the overwhelming amount of broken and bugged elements in a game on its sixth season it is mind blowing.
**EDIT: 2 unclickable XP wells in a row. Restarting the game to see if that makes any difference.

do this date I’ve not been able to click on any XP wells in nightmare dungeons and I’m Paragon 220

I have the same issue for a few days now as well. I cant click on it even if all the monsters around it are gone. i tried clearing the dungeon then come back it was still not interactable.
I had this too… once… used a shrine… found the well… it was gray on the map… after I freed it from “corruption” (or whatever that was) it was still gray. (NM dungeon had a gold bonus.)
The next shrines in other dungeons were OK.

This, I must take care of interaction with each mucks to make it work.

Like what Sandwall mentioned, I just tested this and can confirm, if you don’t off screen aoe destroy the growths around the shrine, and then destroy them when you are closer to the shrine with non aoe attack, you can click on it and activate it to get the 1hr +15% xp buff. I can’t imagine this is intended, and likely needs devs attention to fix.

This makes my CL Sorc much sad. IN fact i think pretty much ALL Sorc builds are about blasting off screen mobs with AOE.
what class and build are u using?
this is nuts but with all the weird bugs I have been running into its not that shocking. I am yet to see this muck because my CL Sorc and I think most Sorc builds are all about blasting off screen mobs with AOE. Assuming I dont blast away the muck with this off screen AOE am i able to simply click or ‘interact’ with the muck to remove it or do i need to try to come up with some sorta single target Sorc build for the times when i am hunting down the 1 hr XP buff? It also must be a random thing because I was able to get the XP buff dozens of times now before I encountered this issue.
Yeah I can NEVER click on them. The only thing I’ve found works is mapping the “force interact” ability to a button you don’t use and just mash it while hovering the mouse back and forth over it. The well acts like there’s something blocking the view of it that you’ll get sometimes in helltides.
I find that I am only able to click on some XP wells, not sure what my percentage of success rate is with those
