Can you play two different battlenet accounts on couch coop

Hello, i am looking for an official conclusion to my question. Can you play two different battlenet accounts on couch coop on console. for example, i have my own battlenet account with its own progression, can i go to my friends house and play couch coop, on his ps5 with my own account while simultaneously on his account? Thanks

i can’t confirm 100%, but i believe this is how they designed couch coop. You each login separately to your respective ps/xbox accounts. You don’t get to have two peopel playing the game off one account to the best of my knowledge

I haven’t played couch co-op, but if you read the explanation that’s how it works. The 2nd player has to log in into a battlenet account of their own.

I was actually wondering if co-op could be done with the same account and, for the ps5, if both accounts have to have the ps plus subscription.

Yes. Your battle.net account is linked to your PSN account. When at your friends house add your PSN account to their console. You can then join each others games.

My wife and kids all have their own Battle.net and PSN accounts. We have joined each others games several times with no issues. We also have two PS5’s and our progression follows our account.

Both players require a Battle.net and PSN account. Only one player requires a PS plus subscription provided that the PS5 is set as their primary console.
