all they need to do is wow BG’s and its a win, or simply import Diablo Immortal PVP into d4.
I would definitely take part despite being a purely PVM guy since D2.
Also the only people quitting are the loud minority and once they fail repeatedly at PoE because its to hard for them and they can’t get the gear for the build they have copy pasted from their favorite streamer, they will return in droves.
There are literally millions of silent dad gamers like myself who will play this and continue playing this because “no lifing” video games is a thing of the past, maybe when we all hit retirement we can invest in a PoE type game again, but for now its D4.
That’s because you don’t have the right friend base. PVP players all get together for 2-3 games. The community holds tournaments every Thursday of the FNF. There are also championships by region, with juicy prizes, but this is organized by the community. It would be better if Blizzard did it. pvp
yeah they did have a ranking system that helped a bit, but I quit the game after a week or two when playing for free was impossible. I didn’t spend a penny on that game, and never would!
But the pvp system was decent at least, as were the 4-5 man dungeons.
I would never class myself as a pvper but its a fun activity in a BG setup. What you mentioned is way to “hardcore” for players like myself who would take part in pvp if it was available and very casual. I would queue for pvp if it involved a load of randoms equally bad with maybe some PVE events within each BG. Organized pvp where you actually need a pvp build… isn’t going to happen.
They don’t know how to make endgame, but in pvp they have an easy endgame but they don’t know what to do either, ask those from Diablo Immortal, there are solutions but they don’t seem worried, they keep making ridiculous bonfires to announce seasonal mechanics that my 4 year old nephew might play.
