Can we stop blowing everything out of proportions

The game is out for a year now.

Once again Blizzard is killing it’s own game by putting everyone on steroids.

Everyone getting into the game after S4 will have a total borefest in the campaign. The game was already not hard and it got nerfed into the ground.

World Bosses drop in a few seconds. So does the Butcher. The Open World is so laughably easy and unrewarding that there is “NO” reason to ever wander around. Why did they even made this “HUGE” map, everyone is just porting from dungeon to dungeon.

Now they reworked loot and totaly forgot to also rework the Uniques. Like what?!? How???

There is also a lot of stuff broken after the rework. Many aspekts are worthless.

Stop pushing us into certain “Playstyles” by giving us Items that only Boost 1 certain skill.

Instead of making gloves that give+ 3 on WW whirwind and the chance for WW to explode, why not just make the item that it will give +3 Core and the chance to explode by using a core skill. That way everyone would use it.

There are literaly dozens of skills in my skilltree as a barb where i wonder why there is a restriction.

So now there is a “AOE” attack for Bash. It’s great for an oldshool player like me cause i just wanna smash some demons without fancy dancing. Nice. Except, why is it restricted for bash. I would like to play some Frenzy that way, but nono.

And ofc they once again blew it out of proportions with several 100+% dmg for Bash.
Now i can decide wether i play Bash and crit for 10.000.000 Dmg or i play frenzy and crit for 60.000. Ya, seems totaly balanced.

Stupiid me why do i prefer Frenzy over bash.

Say what you want about D3 vanilla but at least it was

  1. Challenging in Inferno
  2. almost every skill was viable
  3. Any “GOOD” Item was usable cause they where not bound to a certain playstyle.

It’S infuriating to see so many interesting Items that are unusable, so many interesting aspects that are useless, Such a beautiful Open World that is worthless, Now even unqieus that are supposed to be the “Cherry” on top of ya loot are 95% crap.

What the hell is going on here.

This thread totally didn’t go as I expected.

Why should we cater to new players? They missed the party.
The changes are headed in the right direction. It’s kind of silly to expect everything to be perfect. These changes should be welcomed, with constructive criticism and hope that it will be improved upon.

I mean just a few things…

  1. I’m sure they will add more tempering manuals in time for more options.
  2. Uniques are just that and not just ‘BiS’ generic skill (or groups of skill) boosters.
  3. People are playing outside the ‘one’ meta of a class. There are many valid builds for all classes this season.
  4. You can always decide what you want to play. There were people beating NMD 100s last season using nothing but yellow rare gear, as a challenge.
  5. Everyone is entitled to have their own opinions.

There will be more changes in the future but a lot of people agree, there is a solid foundation for the game now.

Did you complete a lvl 200 pit? Is it really that easy?

Now, if you think it’s not fun just don’t use a top build.

If you’re complaining because it’s too easy for others… why do you care?

What would happen if “the others” are happy with it being easy?

(This is just in response to the first part…)

As a general answer: it is good that they do one thing at a time. If they change everything at the same time it would be even worse.

The legendaries are pretty good now, much more general stats than before and much more interesting.

Honestly i kinda started on a thing and while i was writing i somehow lost track derailed on anotehr topic, so ya the titel is propably not that good but whatever.

OP…This is the best D4 has been and arguably the best Diablo has been since D2. What are you on about?
Agree, there are a ton of things to be changed, like what you mentioned about class agnostic aspects/items. Agree.

But the game is good now, this is how it should have launched with another year in the oven. The D4bad memes should be a distant memory now since you can feasibly drop 1-2-3-4+ weeks into the game (assuming youre not neckbearding it playing 10 hours a day like a streamer for a job).

No, was that somehow part of my argument? I don’t think so.

I am not following any guides and just do my own thing. The bash AOE thing is what fits my playstyle the most, i dunno if that is a Top build or not.

Was speaking in general, you can stil enjoy the campaign of D1 and D2 even after all these years, D3 not anymore and D4 is now kinda the same.

I have already seen at least 2 people complaining in the German forum that the game feels awkwardly easy. That they think the game is boring as it is.

I don’t think “everyone” is happy, i don’t even think most are happy. I ahve seen a lot of people complaining that the Open world is kinda “DEAD”

Sorry, it’s because of the weird plot twist in the post.

Personally, no. I got bored of Diablo 2 a long time ago and played Diablo 3 a lot more than D2 (I even never took a Diablo 2 character to max level… not even level 50). And the reason is that Diablo 3 was not just a campaign. (I played Diablo 3 vanilla for like a year and a half and Diablo 3 ROS for 6 years.)
