Blizzard: we cant do that, then you all would know we are lying. Our only focus is to make as much money as possible while dragging you along for the publicity it will create.
Your expectations for the 4.5 instalment of a franchise is too high and the reason the game is bad because your not whaling enough.

They sold millions of copies so to them it’s a success. They apparently intended for this game to have an ending and didn’t design it as something to keep playing a lot like D2 or D3 if you wanted to grind (uber uniques might as well not exist so that doesn’t count).
Which is fine but it’s a pretty content limited ending imo. If I want to get more out of it I really don’t have many options. I either have to wait for seasons with temporary content that will later be removed, or for an expansion that is probably up to 2 years out.
No but it would behoof the company if they gave MVP titles to sentient beings instead of the usual idiot squad types.

225k posters is a statistically significant sample size though. There is a certain bias because people that post on the forums likely spent way more hours playing D4 than people who don’t post on forums. If a vast majority of the 225k who post on forums have a negative opinion of the game, then it is reasonable to believe that a significant majority of people who spent a good amount of time playing D4, also have a negative opinion of the game.

I have never once seen MissCheetah be an idiot on purpose and honestly I can’t recall a single instance of her being an idiot at all, are you perhaps proposing she is supposed to be flawless and perfect? Is it not sentience to be able to make mistakes?
She isn’t paid by Blizzard, she just has a green name and access to some “secret” subcategories. I’m not sure what you are expecting her to do except to offer whatever feedback she has and act like a normal human being.
I understand you want to blame someone, MissCheetah just ain’t the person to blame. She has been nothing but nice and helpful towards me in all of the years I was over at D3 forums, she has helped countless people by pointing them to the correct ways to seek help and she does it for free, I’m not sure what more you could expect from an MVP.

I agree with you that we are, by definition, both a minority and vocal.
However, the term “Vocal Minority” has become a derogatory term the way it has been used both in society and on these forums. It is essential a way of telling someone, “I don’t have to listen to you”.
He may have said that they want to listen to the vocal minority, but to call people a “Vocal Minority” at all is to to belittle those who are a member of that group.
He could have and should have found another way of saying it without calling anyone a “Vocal Minority”.

Until I see otherwise, I will assume that they have priority when they flag posts. I wouldn’t doubt that there is a weighted system in place that is automated and removes posts that they flag.

Most people playing the game like the game, or at least don’t hate it with a burning passion and feel the need to come here and post about how much they hate it.
It’s like MAGAs in US politics. They are an obvious minority, but they are loud and hateful and totally convinced the election in 2020 was stolen from them so they grab an outsized amount of attention.

He lost the popular vote by about 3 million. Without gerrymandering and other dirty tricks, he wouldn’t have even won the electoral vote either.
Fact is, the US is about 1/3 centrist, 1/3rd right wing, and 1/3rd left wing. MAGA is on the far right end of “right wing”.

We have a vote, but electors called the “electoral college” actually vote for us. It’s an easy to game system, and it doesn’t need to exist in the modern era.
