You talk about disconnects and queues. What about the people that seem to have account issues. Some pre purchase accounts appear to be getting block with “No valid license found for Diablo IV”.
Over 4 hrs of queue, which I wouldn’t mind but I haven’t even been able to access the game once.
Also see here for people with same issue. https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/unable-to-find-a-valid-license-for-diablo-iv-code-315306/552
Blue repsonse is total nonsense and reports of KFC codes working on a different account are troublesome.
Really would like a response, even if its just to confirm this is being looked at.
I probably posted this in the wrong thread, sorry.
I would have thought that Blizzard would have prepared for this one a bit better knowing how popular the Diablo series has been, and how long it has been since D3 came out.
Hopefully this helps prepare for launch and open beta.
i have been playing for about 2 hours now, left the game. and tried going back in various times. but im given an error code 316719. but thanks great game. good luck with the bug removals and polish
The problem is that it might not only be purely infrastructure or lack of preparation. Networking especially under an intense load like this will always have congestion problems.
Which i would understand if i was getting dc. I am getting a message that is basically
“Thanks for waiting in queue for 1hr, on inspection your account does not have a valid pass for this beta. Goodbye”
If this is not the actual error, we need someone to explain what is actually happening, because at the moment im looking at this as I have paid money to access this beta over this weekend, and something, somewhere, at Blizzards end has not got the message.
If i turned up to a football match with my ticket in hand and was told by the gate security “sorry, i dont see no ticket” I would be just as puzzled.
*also its late, im tired and pissed off at staring at a queue screen.
