Can not access cross play party chat

Auto-join voice channels will not toggle on or off, xbox x. join voice chat in game triggers an error message.

when i try to auto join voice channels in settings there is a noise but the box will not toggle.

there are no parental controls. access unlimited. let me have a ticket and person to help me.

Hi,
We’re following up on your support request.
Open the Main Menu of the game.
Select Options and head toward the Sound Tab.
Under the Voice Chat option, choose Open Mic instead of push-to-talk. This will enable the Open Mic option, allowing you to join voice channels without pressing any buttons.

Make sure your sound output device (headset or TV) is correctly selected in the game menu. If it’s different from the headphones or speakers you’re using, voice chat may not work as expected.

diablo4
i can not toggle the auto-join voice channels option. i can not join cross play party chat. xbox has checked my account settings. the settings are all optimal for cross play and party chat. i have deleted and re-loaded my xbox account. i have deleted and re loaded diablo4. the problem seems to be a bug with blizzard. it is not the xbox settings. cross play chat works fine for COD.

Clear The mac address and local saves games.

-Removed and added account.

-Check Xbox live account settings.

As I can see from what you wrote us is that you cannot toggle the auto join voice chat channels in Diablo IV even after trying different troubleshooting steps and contacting Xbox. No worries at all. After doing some diggings, I can see that the Parental Controls option is not enabled. However, I did refresh your account on my end here. Also, please make sure to fully log out and re-log into the account and game again to check this. thank you for helping me. i still can not join cross play party chat. i can not toggle the auto-join voice channels option. it will not light. it makes a noise when i try. so the command is registering. but the option is just not allowed.

so resetting my battlenet account did not solve this issue.

i’m not sure i will be able to provide a screen shot from my xbox, unless you want to communicate through xbox live. but when i try to manually join a cross play party chat, it says. “this account is restricted”

my cross play chat works fine in other games. my party chat always works.

I understand that you’ve been experiencing issues with Voice Controls in Diablo IV and have tried the troubleshooting steps sent from the previous GMs and the ones provided to you by Microsoft Support but alas to no use.
