Can I play diablo 4 on pc if I bought it on xbox?

I bought D4 on xbox and I would like to play it on my pc as well, I logged in with the same account I used on xbox on pc and It says I cannot play it. Am I doing something wrong or is can I not play on pc if I bought originally on xbox

You have to buy it again. I had to buy on psn and battlenet.

We can download OW2 like that. I bet you will be able to do the same with D4 in time.

You need a new license for each new platform but your account will be shared across platforms so you shouldn’t loose any progress. Like others have said though, maybe the recent acquisition will change things in time. Unless you want to play on PC immediately, maybe wait it out a bit and see if it ends up on gamepass

Such bull that you have buy games multiple times. I have over $200 in CoD MW3 because I bought it on battle net and wanted it on my xbox instead. They wouldn’t even give me a refund for it so that i could buy it again. Now that I just bought my xbox with diablo 4 I wanted it on my pc but can’t do that either because I have to buy the game again. Start linking accounts to purchases people so that we don’t have to keep buying the same stupid games twice such a con way of making money if you ask me.

I bought the game on pc and play on Xbox with my game pass too. I already paid for the expansion in October.

Does the expansion will work on my Xbox too? I mean, do I have to pay the expansion also on Xbox to be able to play?

Hopefully it will be like this and more now that blizzard is owned by Microsoft.
