Creeping Death (Wrathful, Super): Your damage over time effects are increased by 30-40% for each different Crowd Control effect on the target. Unstoppable monsters and Staggered bosses instead take 110-130% increased damage from your damage over time effects.
I read this, and start to think if this changes anything.
From reading it, sounds like you only get the buff when the mobs are CCed. means 2 seconds-ish and thats 2 ticks?
I think it’s exciting from a theorycrafting standpoint, but if the damage is competitive remains to be seen. This heart is heavily making me consider a firewall build for S1. However, I’ve kind of lost my interest in theorycrafting because of the patch changes so I’ll rely on the hardcore players to share what they find.
I did ice shards pre-season so looking to try something different.
It could make a firewall build with fists of fate competitive. But people say the burning instinct node is not buffing firewall damage 
I mean, yea… there is nothing we can do now expect accepting it.
I am thinking of running fire or lighting sorc for S1. Reading the hearts makes me think they might be playable. But still has significant lower dmg since aspect of control is nerfed as hell
Freeze them then Incinerate. As the target is likely to be Chilled in any build which Freezes, that is 80% more damage to your Incinerate.

is lucky hit tiggered by ticks? or just at the moment when you cast firewall?
The value shown has typically been the “per button press” value. But it looks like it has been changed to “per package of damage” with the patch. The actual expectation has not changed.
This is also situational: DoT on unstoppable mobs. If It is on an elite with full health, then you’d have to kite, and while you are running around, it is hard to do a firewall that does good dmg and applies more DoT.
It will be good if they offer “Blaze” skills in D2.
The lucky hit is unfortunately per cast of blizzard, but ice blades can proc per hit, which makes everything works better

The lucky hit of firewall is per tick i think, ive seen firewalls and meteors proccing out of firewalls already casted. But I dont remember if fists of fate work the same way
This is probably part of why aspect of control was nerfed.
Maybe seasons are just like D3 but instead of sets for Blizzard’s intended (play it your way burger king) builds you just have to figure out the 1 build that actually works for each class exactly like it were sets from D3.
Sounds solid, as it was designed for Pyro.
Unique Gloves, Audacity + Shared Misery Aspects + High Lucky Hit Chance = whole room under triple CC untill Unstoppable kicks in. Fire scaling is wonky though. Like they added crit scaling as a bandaid at the last moment.
Also survivability is the main issue, Pyro is rewarded by standing still, while having no functional defense.
Prob need to use hydra from off screen and run in circles like the old days
If it’s multiplicative (and I think it is), it could bring my current build dps to whatever it was pre patch against trash and elites. Frostbolt enchanted Hydras mean they would trigger automatically except against bosses.
I mean, it’s one of the good ones for any DoT character that can actually apply a non-hard CC quite easily (e.g. Chill, Slow). Hard to say how it will turn out though, but I can see it being used.
