Can confirm the new SoE works

Or at least somehow works sometimes… Not sure how reliable it is.

Just managed to survive a disconnect that would have 100% killed me in seconds under normal circumstances. Got disconnected and crashedout? by one of those life draining pylon things in a blood harvest. Had to wait like 5 minutes before the game would let me relog back in because it kept saying something like “my character has not yet finished saving please wait while we log you out, and try again later” (which usually means you’re dead).

Eventually managed to log back in. Alive. With 1 scroll less. Though out in the field near the pylon instead of back in town like I would have expected.

Done playing for now. Have had numerous weird game errors and bugs happen in the past hour and stupid me should have taken a break. Servers are rather unstable right now. Rather surprised and pleased to still be alive but I’ll take it lol

I am not sure if that was a scroll of escape works my friend. The last time I was DC out running in a field, everything froze, I saw no monsters, I could cast no skills. I couldn’t SOE

So, I was crashed 30 seconds later

I re logged back in and saw the same thing you did “character is stuck….blah blah”

However, after a minute or so, I logged back in and my D4 was updating . I spawned right next to a pack of vampires and elites , about 5’ out.

One of my scrolls of escape got auto-used and I somehow survived. That’s all I know and that’s enough for me…

I doubt they are reliable in all circumstances though.
